Handmade hair bows

I found some adorable coordinating ribbon in the one spot at Target the other day, so I thought I would do some more korker ribbons. You can find the tutorial here

And I finally attempted making some singed flowers from leftover fabric I had. These are probably my favorite!
And here are all of them together. I made all of the barrettes and bows for $3 total! See that black blob that didn't photograph so well? Well, the tutorial for that one will come tomorrow. It really is pretty cute!

Those look beautiful. I'm dying to try the flower thing, but I hesitate to use a lighter! I'm such a wimp. Great job!

Meg, I lit a candle, then had a bowl of water ready just in case. The fabric did light on fire but always went out quickly with a little blow. I just wouldn't recommend doing it in front of your children. It may send the wrong idea...you know, like mommy is a pyromaniac or something!

Hi, it is so nice to meet you and visit your blog. I’m coming through Making the World Cuter, where I posted for the first time. I look forward to browsing around and sharing good ideas. WOW, it is such a coincidence because I posted about learning to make hairbows. Great minds think alike. :)
