Hand Stamped Guitar Pick

A few years ago, my husband and my son took up guitar. They have both gotten quite good and it's fun to hear them play together. So, when our dating anniversary (yep, we still celebrate that even after nearly 13 years of wedded bliss!) came around, I had the idea to make him a custom guitar pick.

Of course the first place I went to look was etsy. I found this shop

Metal Fetish. They have lots of cool custom metal shapes perfect for hand stamping .

I ordered some 18 gauge aluminum picks and stamped "I Pick You" on it. Isn't that sweet?

I also made one for my son Aidan. Something I learned is that you can't put too much on the pick. Or at least, I couldn't...I tried to make one that said "I will worship" but ran out of room for my "ip"...not cool!

I think my hubby liked it. And now, for something you will like.

Metal Fetish is offering my readers a $15 credit for their shop. There is tons to choose from in the shop, from washers, to dog tags, from hearts to shamrocks. The creative possibilities are endless! Want to know how to win?

I'd love the guitar pick disc made from 18 GAUGE BRASS QTY 5 and have them engraved, It would be so cool to find a 4 leaf clover as well but didn't find any there....

I would also pick a pick for my husband. He is a musician and can never have too many. I pull picks out of the washing machine on a daily basis :)

Neat shop! Haven't seen one like that yet. The washer stamping discs in 1 inch 20 gauge NICKEL SILVER look pretty promising.

Oh, shoot I missed it. My brother is an avid guitar player--I'll have to pass this along to his wife. I love the saying---made me smile!
