Using an old window as a Christmas card display

I love getting Christmas cards.  It's probably my favorite part of the whole year!

Seems like everyone is sending out amazing photo cards these days.  It's rare that we get anything but a photo card.

I love seeing all the smiling faces of our friends and family and wanted to have a place to display the cards that we receive during the season.  So I took a window that I got at a garage sale this summer and made it into a Christmas card display.

I had everything on hand to make the display so it didn't cost me anything.

I just took some bias tape and wrapped it as tightly as I could around the window front and back.
I occasionally held it in place with thumb tacks to keep the bias tape from sagging with the weight of the cards.

I hung each card up with a mini clothes pin and love adding new cards to it every day.

Gotta run and go check the mail!
