5 minute Valentine's Day tea towel from the Dollar Store

5 minute Valentine's Day tea towel from the Dollar Store

Last week, I made my weekly stop at the Dollar Store and found this cute little towel.
For a dollar.
Duh.

I had these Tulip fabric markers and paint leftover from a campaign that I took part of back in November
so the total cost of this project was a buck.

When I looked at the towel, the design sort of looked like the lined paper that the elementary-aged kids use to learn how to write cursive or print.
Squint at it.
It totally does.
Don't you think?

I'm a child of the 80's so puffy paint is old hat.
I used to make sweatshirts covered in puffy paint.
It was awesome, yo!
Anyway, I busted out my mad skills and wrote I Love You on the towel.
Very original stuff here.

I say it took 5 minutes, but it was probably more like 1 minute.
But since you all are probably not as efficient and awesome as me, I am giving you some extra time.
Let the towel dry overnight.

That's it!
My favorite kind of project.
Easy peasy and still super awesome!
