Garage sale Finds Friday free edition 50

Welcome back to another week of garage sale finds Friday.
Where I share with you some of my favorite garage sale finds.
Last week, I shared with you some of the items that I have bought that I haven't paid garage sale prices for.
This week, I want to share with you some things that I picked up free at garage sales that were awesome deals!
Prepare to be jealous!
Last summer, I saw some people hauling out a jeep power wheels to the side of the road.
It was in the midst of a neighborhood sale.
My two youngest kids at the time were 10 and 6.  Too old for a power wheels.
Or so I thought.
When I found out that this nearly new $450 power wheels was free,
I hauled that puppy in the back of my van.
The kids rode it hard for months.
They loved it!
They took it off roading in the empty lot across from our house for hours on end.
When they were done riding it, I sold it on craigslist for $75.
A super deal if you ask me.

The next best thing to a free jeep is a free scooter.
Our neighbors had one that our kids fought over.
My daughter asked for one for Christmas, but with a retail price tag of $250, it wasn't happening.
I have seen these resold at garage sales for $75, so when I saw it for free, I snatched it up.
The power light went on, the battery worked, the front wheel spun, but the back wheel wouldn't move.
The owners weren't quite sure what was wrong with it,
But with an engineer husband, I thought it was worth the gamble.
It took him 3 minutes to put the chain back on.
The kids all fight over this scooter.
Even my nearly 15 year old son.
Yep, it's that awesome.
I love music and usually have my ipod docked listening to something around the house.
I saw this ihome docking station alarm clock radio for $10.
The owner was really nice and told me she would plug it in for me to try.
She said that the device was new, but with my past experience, these docks lose their ability to charge an item after a few uses if they aren't properly placed.
We plugged the ihome radio in, and while it worked, it said that charging wasn't supported with the device.
No surprise.
But she said that she was just going to throw it away since it didn't work.
I decided to snatch it up instead.
For free.
It plays music just fine.
With three kids, I know how fun child size furniture is.
My kids always liked kid size chairs so when I saw a similar chair to this pink one on the side of the road, I picked it up for my nieces.
There were no rips or tears but there were a few stains that I thought could easily come out with a good washing.
Those are just a few of my recent free "box" finds.
How about you, what have been your best free finds?

Wow! That power wheels jeep find was awesome! My nephews have one and love it but it was so expensive. You have a knack for finding amazing deals! My free items from garage sales are a brand new t-shirt for my dad with tags still attached and a 50's sewing machine.

Those are AWESOME deals. My favorite freebie was a quilt rack I found on trash day. It could use a good paint job, but it's perfect.
My mother grabbed a kids table and chairs from a neighbor who was tossing stuff that didn't sell in a garage sale. My boys love it.
