toy storage bag

I am far too young to remember the Depression,
but yet I have many Depression era tendencies.

One of those tendencies is that I keep everything.
I always think I will find another use for nearly everything I have.
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
Today, I did!
I want to show you how I made a toy storage bag from a bag that sheets came in.

Last month, I purchased some super clearance twin sheets from Target and they came in this bag.
The bag was too cute to throw away but I wasn't quite sure what I would do with it.
A few weeks later,
I was cutting out heat transfer vinyl on my silhouette and decided to cut an extra star shape out.

I ironed on the star shape and made a toy storage bag for my son's favorite airplanes.
It took me literally less than 30 seconds to repurpose this bag that sheets came in,
to a bag that my son could cart his goodies around in.

The bag could also be used as a gift bag.
You can see my burlap Christmas gift bags here.
Do you have any Depression era tendencies like I do?
I would love to hear about them.
