Chocolate Chip Zucchini Cake

I love having a garden. About this time of year I always get an abundant supply of zucchini and I rack my brain trying to come up with ideas on how to prepare it. This chocolate chip zucchini cake is a real crowd pleaser. Most people don't even know they are getting a full serving of vegetables in just one slice! My non-veggie loving kids gobble this up too. I'm excited to share the recipe with you today.

You will need:

1/2 cup of butter {room temperature}
1/2 cup of oil

3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs

2 1/2 cups flour
4 T baking cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
3 cups grated zucchini

cream butter, oil and sugar together and then add your eggs, vanilla, and sour milk. Slowly add in your dry ingredients. Mix well. Stir in your zucchini. Spoon your batter into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

It's moist and delicious! Try it today and let me know what you think. I bet your kids won't even know they are eating their veggies. It's practically a health food. Just don't quote me on that!
