I'm always cold during the fall and winter, which is why some form of soup, stew or chili is part of our weekly dinner rotation. Not only does it allow you to use up ingredients that you may have in your refrigerator or pantry, but I almost always have the ingredients on hand since so many of the ingredients are staples in my home. When meat is on sale, I always cut up, dice up or brown portions that are perfect as soup additions so that it helps the dinner making process go that much quicker.
