DIY At-Home Pedicure

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Amopé. The opinions and text are all mine.

When we found out we were having a daughter I was excited about getting to do all those girly things with her. I dreamed of putting bows in her hair {she ripped them out as soon as I put them in!}, dressing her in cute outfits {turns out she was SUPER particular and wanted to pick out all of her own clothes thankyouverymuch!}, and have spa days. I actually lucked out on that one! While I love going to the spa, it's not necessarily in my budget {times two!}, so at-home spa sessions have always been something my daughter and I have enjoyed since she was quite little.

It started with her sitting next to me as a toddler soaking her feet in warm water and has evolved over time. Sometimes we get a little crazy with egg white face masks, other times, we do each others nails and have an at home pedicure. Just because you do it yourself at home, doesn't mean you need to skimp on getting the same great end result. Especially when it comes to soft feet at home. I'm going to show you our favorite new at-home pedicure must have and share how you can have a DIY at-home pedicure just like the pros, but without the price! Plus, you can get a free printable gift card to give as well.

DIY At-Home Pedicure

I purchased this Amopé Pedi Perfect Extra Coarse Electronic Foot File at Target. I was on the hunt for this after hearing good things about it from a friend. Aren't friend recommendations the best?!

I had to find a Target employee to help me hunt it down because I was looking for it in the wrong place! I was searching high and low by the nail polish. It's not there my friends! Go find this in the foot care aisle by the arch supports and inserts. You're welcome. I just saved you five minutes.

Seriously, this Pedi Perfect Foot File is life changing for your DIY at-home pedicures. It makes the perfect gift, so tuck one in a stocking or under the tree. I've even got a few coupons for you to save you even more money now through 12/25/17!

Let's get started!

1. Remove any nail polish from nails.

2. Soak your feet for about 10 minutes in warm water. You can add a splash of scented oil or Epsom salts to the water if you are feeling fancy!

3. Spend some time having girl talk!

4. Dry your feet.

5. Use your Amopé Pedi Perfect Foot File to exfoliate.

Pay attention to the heel of your foot. The extra coarse roller head has long lasting micro-abrasive particles that have finely ground diamond crystals in them. WOWZERS! You don't just get that at any spa! This allows you to buff away hard skin and leave you with visibly and touchably smooth feet.

6. Give your feet a quick rinse to remove any dry skin.

7. Rub some lotion on your feet.

I like a good lotion that has peppermint in it so that it leaves your feet feeling refreshed and it revives tired toes.

8. Clip nails

9. Polish those toes

It's easy peasy to give yourself a DIY at-home pedicure. Not only that, it gives you some much needed girl time. Only better if you get to spend that time with your daughter or a friend or both!
Don't forget to pick up an Amopé Pedi Perfect Foot File to give you those spa like results at home. It makes the perfect gift.
