Take Your Letterboard to the Next Level: Using Die Cuts and Stickers

I am obsessed with my new letter board. I've been using it to make snarky sayings and general observations. I happened to be in the craft store the other day and started thinking about getting more letters for my board when I came up with a different idea. Why not use die cuts and stickers to create a fun playful effect? The possibilities are endless! I'm sharing with you what I did and how I got them to stick to my board AND be reusable. Get ready to take your letterboard to the next level with die cuts and stickers!

Take your Letter board to the Next Level

I still have a closet full of scrapbook supplies even though I quit scrapbooking when digital pictures came out. I am still obsessed with all things paper though and use some fun die cuts and stickers when I use my journaling Bible, which is why sometimes I wander the aisles at the craft store.

Illustrated Faith creates some of the best paper pieces I've found for using on your letter board. They are meant for your journaling Bible, but there is no reason you can't use them for creating a unique letterboard you can display for your family. Best news is, you can find them on sale right now!
So it seems like you really don't need an explanation, but maybe you do. I wanted to make sure that I could reuse my stickers. Not only that I also wanted to make sure that the paper die cuts and stickers would actually stay in one place on my letterboard.

So how did I  use a die cut on my letter board?

I used a thumbtack with double stick tape. Genius right? The thumbtack slides right into the letter board slots just like your letters do and stays in place.

The stickers don't lose their stick and you can use them over and over again!

You can use die cuts like I used from here

or stickers in fun shapes like I found here.

If you can't find exactly what you are looking for, you can create your own shape using your Silhouette Cameo or Cricut Maker. It's what I did for the pineapple shape.
