About me

My name is Rachel Teodoro and I am a mom of three kids {born in 1998, 2002, and 2005}.
I am living in the greater Seattle area with my husband Mike, who is a mechanical engineer.
We met while attending Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I completed my bachelors degree in child development and family studies with an emphasis on youth and families at risk. My career took a little turn and as I like to say, I'm now making money on the internet without taking my clothes off. Yep, it's a thing.

I am a lover of all things thrifty and can be found trolling for garage sales nearly every weekend.
I like to craft, create and decorate my home with my thrifty finds. I am always happy to share my tips and tricks for living well on less.

I have been creating content for Holy Craft since 2010. Holy Craft has been recognized as one of the top 25 creative mom blogs of 2012 and 2013 and has also been recognized as one of the top 100 best sites of pregnancy and parenting by the on-line Ultrasound school.

My writing has been featured on Country Living, Apartment Therapy, POPSUGAR, and found on the front page of Yahoo on more than one occasion. You can also find me as part of the TODAY Parenting team and as a contributor to the World Vision Blog.

In 2016 I decided that I was more than just the crafts I created and I rebranded as Rachel Teodoro creating rachelteodoro.com. I am a real mom sharing real stories, real life and real projects and I hope that you can find a place here where you can be real.
