Easy Baking Hacks You Can't Live Without

I remember being a young kid experimenting in the kitchen. Thankfully my mom always encouraged me in the kitchen and I think like with all things, with experience comes expertise. Sometimes you have to fake it until you make it and you need a few baking hacks from time to time to get you through. Here are a few of my favorite baking hacks to get you started.

Homemade S'more Ice Cream Pops

It's been a few months since summer and I usually get a hankering for a taste of the good life just about now. Probably because I'm cold. So very cold. In a perfect world, I'd have s'mores every single day of the week. Seriously, just type S'mores recipes into my search bar. I think they outnumber just about every recipe hands down by like a million. So my math sucks, but these homemade s'more pops don't. Why not give them a try!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of McCormick®. All opinions are 100% my own.

I can't think of a Christmas when I didn't do some kind of baking. I love cookies and how easy they are to serve to holiday guests, which is why I think that they are a holiday favorite.  Not only are they easy to serve, they also make a great homemade treat to gift to friends and family. Today, I'm sharing with you an easy snickerdoodles cookie recipe. I love the buttery cookie taste with the cinnamon and sugar coating. Not only that, I love the smell of cinnamon baking in my home. Flavors and aromas have the power to transport you back in time or trigger memories. I think that cinnamon is the quintessential holiday scent of the season. I love using McCormick spices because that's what I remember using when I was a kid. That red cap always brings me back to my childhood!

I've even got a free printable label you can use when you gift your cookies. The labels make this holiday classic that much more festive and fun to give.

The Easiest Christmas Cookie Recipe Ever!

The Easiest Christmas Cookie Recipe Ever!

Baking cookies is always a huge part of the holiday season for our family.
Several years ago, I got this recipe from a MOPS mom
and it quickly became one of my favorites.

Not only is it quick and easy,
it also tastes great.
An added bonus is that I usually have all of the ingredients on hand so there is no special trip to the store.

You only need four ingredients for these cookies.

1 egg
1 stick of butter
1 8oz brick of softened cream cheese
1 box of yellow cake mix

Mix all of your ingredients together in a mixing bowl.

Drop the cookies on to your cookie sheets.
{I love baking with my Silpat sheet!}

To make these cookies festive,
just sprinkle some colored sugar topping or sprinkles on the top.

Put them in your preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 15 minutes.

That's it!
The easiest Christmas cookie to make.
Ever!
