Look at your city and nearby cities' website. You can also check your city hall to find free events in your community and the surrounding area. Many of these activities will be free, and you may be able to find some free fun that your family will enjoy!

Libraries are about more than just a huge selection of books. Many libraries have a good selection of DVDs that are great for binge-watching on the weekends, storytimes for the little ones, concerts, author readings, and other fun, all at no cost! Many library’s even offer ebooks and audiobooks as long as you have a valid library card.

Look online for cultural sites and historical landmarks in your city. Plan to park somewhere nearby and do your own walking tour of them. Pack a lunch from home and find a nearby park or eating area where you can take a nice break. If you have always wanted to learn a new skill, do a little research and see what kind of free tutorials you can find!
