This post is sponsored by Sears Home Services. All opinions are 100% my own.

Windows provide more than a view to the outside and light to the indoors. Most of us don't even think about replacing our windows until there is a problem. Did you know that replacing or upgrading your windows can not only increase your home's value but it can also make your home more comfortable and save you money.  I've got some signs that will help you know when it's time to replace your windows.

When Should I Replace My Windows? 4 Signs You Should Look For

1. Damaged, warped or broken windows

It is possible to repair a damaged or broken window, however, these are the first tell-tale signs, especially if there is more than one window, that your windows may need to be replaced. Do your windows fog up? Are they drafty? Do they stick when you try to open them? They may need to be replaced.

2. You Need an Update

It's not easy to ignore a window. They are a prominent feature of your home and if they look old, worn out and dated, the rest of your home will follow suit.

3. You Feel a Draft

Poorly insulated windows can let cold air into your home. It can make it difficult to heat or cool specific rooms. If you feel a draft it's probably time to replace your windows.

4. You Want to Reduce your Energy Bill

If you have outdated windows, you are probably wasting energy. In the summer, your air conditioning is seeping out and in the winter the wind and cold is coming in. Good windows can provide heat in the winter by letting in sunlight and your energy bills can be reduced by as much as 25% with the proper energy-efficient windows!

Sears Home Improvement provides maintenance-free, more energy-efficient windows because they are the vinyl window expert. They have all the styles you want and can provide a free in-home consultation

You can even save $325 off a purchase of $1500 or more. Expires 4/30/2018 {some restrictions apply}

Great tips! We have some windows that need to be replaced badly and it's one of our next fixer upper projects to tackle, just as soon as we have enough money saved up. But I had no idea that Sears sold windows! Good to know, for sure!

We had all four of these signs and finally last spring we put in new windows! What a difference it has made in both style and comfort. Now more breezes or rain storms coming in.
