Best Cheesy Garlic Fire Bread Recipe

My husband eats bread at every single meal. It's a wonder he's not 600 pounds! After nearly 20 years of marriage I know that bread is a staple at mealtime. We eat lots of it and I like to find ways to enjoy it that are new and different. If you are a bread lover, you are going to love this cheesy fire bread with garlic dipping oil. It's perfect as an appetizer or with a meal. Give it a try!

Cheesy Fire Bread

I know our family never in a million years could ever go on a gluten free diet. Bread is life. I'm pretty sure it's in the Bible or something. Here's how you can make this yummy cheesy fire bread!

Ingredients

Garlic Dipping Oil

½ cup olive oil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp crushed red pepper

Mix ingredients for the dipping oil and set aside

Cheesy Fire Bread

1 loaf French bread
1 stick of butter, softened
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tsp dried parsley
Crushed red pepper to taste

If you don't like it spicy, feel free to use less or omit the cayenne pepper and crushed red pepper.

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Cut French bread loaf in half. You can find cheap loaves of French bread at your local WalMart. They are $1!

Mix butter, olive oil, garlic powder and cayenne pepper together

Spread the butter mix evenly on each half of the loaf

Put loaf back together and wrap with aluminum foil

Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes
Remove foil and lay each half face up on a baking sheet

Top with cheeses, parsley and crushed red pepper

Broil for 2 minutes

Serve with garlic dipping oil and enjoy!
