Decorating around the house

We've been decking the halls at our house this year.
Grab a warm cup of cocoa and step inside for a tour.

When you walk in the front door you are greeted by our three nutcrackers, and a jolly Santa.  Looking up, you will see our latest addition to the Christmas decorations, our white tree.  Purchased new at a garage sale this summer for only $5!

The dining room has ornaments hanging from the chandelier

and ornaments spilling out of glass jars on my mirrored tray.

What can I say?  I got a great deal on ornaments for 90% off a few years ago!

While hosting a booth at the local craft bazaar, my favorite seller had this "I Believe in Santa Claus" sign for half off.  I love the black glitter on the red sign.

The entry to our den has two identical wreaths hanging on the french doors and a Peace sign ($1 at a garage sale) over the door.

More wreaths adorn the small windows on either side of the fireplace

and the mantle has a holly garland across it

I splurged on this pair of vintage ice skates this summer at a garage sale, but I love how they look by the fireplace.

The stockings are hung and the tree has been decorated.

I found this garland in the free box at a garage sale a few years ago.  We didn't have a place for it at our old house.  I'm so glad I held on to it because it fits perfectly on our upstairs banister.

Hopefully, you enjoyed looking around.  Decorating for Christmas is one of my favorite things!
