22 Ways That You Can Support My Small Business

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. I earn a small commission from any purchases you make from those links, but your price stays the same. You are supporting my small business.

I've been blogging for a LONG time. I actually started a blog way back in 2005 when I was pregnant with our third child so that we could stay connected to family and friends who weren't nearby. All that to say, blogging is a long game for me. I've been at it for a while. Unlike my oldest son, who could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves, I am not a natural-born salesperson. It's just not at the root of why I started this blog. However, I do continue to write and chug along providing free content for my readers {you!}, and I'm so glad you are here.

Want to know how you can support me? Bookmark this post. Then, when you shop any of the links in this post, you get good juju and I get a little kickback to help support me and my little blog habit. I'm only sharing sites I shop often myself. The things I'd tell my friends about if they asked. So know that this is the best of the best! Thank you for your support! I appreciate you!

How to Bookmark a Post

Because I know my mom is reading {hi mom!}, I'll get a few questions about how to bookmark a post. Every browser is different, but see up in that bar at the top with the link you are reading from? To the far right, there is a star. Click on that and it will save it. You can click on the star and decide where you want to bookmark it to. I like my favorites up on the top header bar, but you can create a folder for yours.

Our family's favorite vacation is to all-inclusive resorts. Beaches {the family-friendly resort} and Sandals {adults only} provide an experience that is above and beyond. Our favorite? Beaches Turks and Caicos.

Food and Drink

Hello Fresh
I can't give this one an honest review because I've never tried it, but as we've dwindled from a family of 5 to just 3 of us at home, I have been tempted because feeding people is weird. And this seems like an easy way to do it. Plus, you don't need my review. Plenty of people LOVE it.

Clothing

ThredUp
This link gives you $10 off your first purchase. Most of my clothing is used and shopping ThredUp and an easy way to find quality used clothing at a fraction of the price. It can be difficult to figure out how to shop it. Use these tips to make it easier and use this code to save $10

Armoire

Rent high-quality sustainable clothing. Use this code for 50% off your first month. After going on a trip with World Vision to Bangladesh, I became much more aware of sweatshops and fast fashion. Renting clothing is a great way to change up your wardrobe and support sustainable clothing. I used Armoire for a month this past summer and I've never had more compliments. Plus, I found some new brands I love and keep an eye out for when I'm shopping ThredUp!

Shopping

Use these links when you are shopping some of my favorites.

Amazon
Easy and fast shipping, with basically everything under the sun.

Dayspring
Shop everything from cards to Bibles to inspirational clothing and home decor. It's a great shop if you are looking for the perfect encouraging gift.

Cricut
Craft much? I love my Cricut! There's always a sale happening it seems, so keep this one bookmarked so you can shop the sales and get the best deals!

Crate Joy
Subscription boxes are so fun to get and gift. You can find everything from subscription boxes for new parents, toys and crafts as well as things like a sock club or monthly garden group. It's a great way to give an experience throughout the year.

Dollar Tree
You know I love the dollar store. You can shop online and never step foot in the store! Plus, if you are crafty, you can pick up multiples of many items so you can craft at home for reselling. Need some tips on what NOT to buy at the Dollar Store? Check this out.

Bark Box
I am a proud dog mom and make no bones about it! My pups get fun boxes with toys and treats.

Etsy
Obsessed. I think Etsy just keeps getting better. You can find just about anything from stickers to SVG {Cricut or Silhouette files} to printables for parties. And you can find beautiful handmade gifts and home decor. It's the first place I shop for gifts.

Simply Earth
I heard a lot about essential oils but didn't know how to use them until I signed up for the monthly subscription box from Simply Earth. You get a box full of oils and recipes so you can learn how to use your oils for a healthy natural home. Use code RACHELFREE for a HUGE free box. Seriously, I got this free box with my subscription 3 years ago and I'm still using things in it. Check out this post to learn more.

Home

Easy Closets
I have my own huge walk-in closet and when we moved in, it had the most worthless wire shelves. My absolute favorite DIY so far has been putting in built-ins in my closet. We used EasyClosets and many many years later, they still look just as good as they did when we put them in. And they were less than those other closet built-ins. Want to see my closet?

Etsy
Did I mention I shop here first? I love their handmade items. There are so many talented artisans. It's like shopping at your favorite craft fair.

Celebrate

Minted
The quality of these cards is top-notch. I love Christmas because of the holiday cards and I can almost always tell the ones from Minted. Keep your eye out for the sales. They happen often.

GreenEnvelope
I used GreenEnvelope for the first time this past summer. I hosted a wedding shower and it was so easy to send invites, track RSVPs, send reminders, and communicate with guests. Remember how we used to send out evites? This is better. In an effort to be green, I may switch to them for our holiday cards. That is if we can still include our annual self-deprecating Christmas letter.

Thanks friends for supporting me and this little corner of the internet. I appreciate you!
