Stocking Stuffers for Older Teens and Young Adults

The first thing that gets opened up on Christmas morning at our house is stockings. All winter long, as soon as the decorations get put up, the stocking are hung on the mantle. On Christmas morning, the stockings, bursting with a combination of wrapped and unwrapped items are on the floor in front of the roaring fireplace. As the kids get older, the task of stuffing stockings can feel like a daunting task. When they were little it was easy to put candy and small toys inside, but as they've gotten bigger, it can seem more challenging. I've put together a list of 100+ items! This list isn't exhaustive but should get you thinking out of the box a bit.  I've linked our favorites when I could, so make sure you check the underlined items and add those to your cart for easy shopping!

Personal Hygiene Items

Try something new or get an old favorite! Adding personal hygiene items to the stocking is almost a requirement in every single family I know!

I love shopping for these online, but keep your eye out in discount stores like TJ Maxx and Marshall's too!

Subscription Services

Your kids may be using your accounts anyway, but if they aren't, gift them their own so you don't have to share!

Apple TV+
Disney +

Simple Goodness Sisters Cocktail Farm Club is one of my favorites! I actually asked for this last Christmas for myself! They have so many great items {stuff the stocking with syrup and a recipe card!}, but the cocktail farm club is one of my favorites. When you get your box, you'll also get an e-mail invite to join a zoom call so you can make the cocktail or mocktail together and ask any and all questions!

If your teens/young adults show interest in toxic-free living and essential oils, I LOVE Simply Earth. I started using their subscription service years ago and even though I've put my subscription on pause, I got a lot more confident in using essential oils at home, mixing them for home and beauty and in my diffuser. If you use code rachelfree, you can get a box of free supplies to get started. They make the perfect Christmas gift!

Their tastes may have changed, but most teens and 20-somethings still like food and drinks! Here are some ideas that might get you thinking about new items to stuff in their stockings!

Snack Foods
International Favorites

This is such a great list, Rachel! I like the sunscreen recommendation, especially for families who might have a sunny vacation destination coming up.
