Vintage gold dot window Christmas tree

I love old windows!
The only thing I love more than old windows is decorating for Christmas.
If you can combine the two, I'm in heaven!

Today, I want to show you my gold dot Christmas tree window.
It was stupid easy to make and I think it turned out great!

I have a silhouette, and know I could have used that to cut my vinyl, but I had some scraps that were left over from another project
{I will show that project to you later this week!}
so I decided to use my circle cutters to make my dots.
I used my 1" and 1 1/2" cutters to cut out gold and white vinyl circles.

I cleaned up my window and decided that having a template to use to help me keep the Christmas tree shape would be key, so I tore out {very technical I know!} a Christmas tree shape from newspaper and slipped it under my window to use as a guide.

Then, I simply peeled and stuck the circles all around the tree as randomly as possible.
I did use my silhouette machine to cut out a star shape.
I'm not awesome enough to do that free hand!

I love how it turned out!

Do you use old windows for any of your Christmas decorating?

Love it! It looks great and very sparkling! Perfect for Christmas decor. I think it is great that you were able to use so leftover craft materials. It is always nice when you make something out of what you already have! Rhonda
